NOW IT'S TIME TO WORK...

Well I counted them.

And I shot well over 10 hours of taped footage on the trip. I'm happy. I took two boxes of tapes with the aim of using all the tapes and I did..not one tape left. I'm very happy with the footage and at how good the trip went. I was so lucky and fortunate to get what I did filmed.

So,..I have to jump on in and start sifting through the footage, logging it into my computer and get editing I guess. I super keen on it, I love the editing process but different priorities are afoot at the moment.

I returned home from Tokyo on the Sunday and took over as manager of my department on the Monday and haven't stopped working hard yet. Pulled a 13 plus hour day today and I've got a similar one tomorrow. I guess I'll use the extra days off to jump on in and get started on the editing. SO keen to see where it goes now.

Oh yeah,...anyone actually read this blog? (besides you Martine) I'm thinking nobody is reading this and I'm thinking of deleting it....hmm...

To Be Continued,...

i am from berlin/germany, going to shoot a documantary about some vale tudo fighters in germany.
during my research i came to your blog.
i like the trailer very much and love to see more.
i am a great mma fan as you are, training muay thai, bjj, submission wrestling and vale tudo.
and i am a girl- so i try to show another angle of the whole game.

japan of couse gives much more material to show- i have been in tokio one month ago. its my favourite place in the world.

at least i have to cut it to 45 minutes- you have much more space to show emotions- i would love to.
maybe if i earn something i take the experience and make a 100 minute film with better material, more art fil than you do. its brilliant how you cut it.

i wish you much luck- and good training.
